My Story…

Hi, I’m Scott.

If you’re checking out my website, that means maybe someone referred you to me, or maybe you just found me on Google or Facebook.

Either way, thanks for checking us out. Let me tell you a little about me and my company, NTX Skytech.

Short Version:

Went to school originally for Aviation Flight Training to become a commercial airline pilot, became a computer systems engineer instead. Worked through the technology ranks, from hardware to software including 15 years at Bank of America. Became a Realtor with Fathom Realty, then started an aerial photography and video business.

Long(er) version:

I started my love for flying around the age of 12 when my uncle, who was an airline pilot, brought me up in his tail dragger and gave me my first log book. From there, I had joined an aviation club in 7th grade, joined Civil Air Patrol later that year. I was accepted into the Aviation program at Bridgewater State College in Massachusetts. Found that this major was not financially feasible and pivoted to Computer Science, which started me on the path to become a systems engineer.

After 20 years of sitting a desk, I realized that I just didn’t want to do that anymore, so searched high and low for a career that I would love and keep me engaged with my family. My wife and I have had many hobbies during the transition, including breeding birds, like the Blue & Gold Macaw. We then started a hydroponic farm, selling products at various farmers markets. It wasn’t long after this that we decided that we were going to become Realtor’s. We still work hard today to find people their forever homes, but then the flying bug came back to me.

Rather than getting my pilots’ license, I have opted to get my FAA Part 107 certificate. I had gotten into drones around 2017 when I had a dream of getting into the Agriculture field, since then, I had decided what better way than to start a local business that serves this purpose and much more.
